History of The Palace
The name Sarvato refers to the building's square known as The Sarvatobhadra, which was used as a hall for a private audience. It remains to be one of the important buildings in the Palace. This unique dining venture aims to provide guests with an unforgettable gastronomic journey.
"Our vision for Sarvato is to create a space where tradition meets innovation," says His Highness Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh. "We want every guest to feel the essence of Rajasthan and take a piece of it home with them. The concept embraces the diverse narratives that exist within Rajasthan showcasing the best of ingredients and flavors. "

The people
For His Highness Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh, the idea for Sarvato stemmed from his lifelong connection to the Chandra Mahal building at the City Palace. Growing up, he would often admire this beautiful space from the terrace of his residence in the Palace, wondering why it hadn't been used to its full potential. It offers one of the most stunning views in Jaipur, showcasing not only the Chandra Mahal building but also much of the Palace complex.
For the Maharaja, Abhishek Honawar’s expertise in the culinary world is unparalleled, and his passion resonates deeply with the ethos of The Sarvato. He has entrusted him entirely with the menu’s creation, confident that his approach — rooted in local traditions yet innovative — will make The Sarvato a standout dining destination.
